Miner Mole is a short platforming demo developed by Spanish creator Geri as part of his final university project. The game follows a mole on a quest to save his underground world from an unknown evil. Designed primarily as an experiment in 16-bit game development, it serves as both a showcase of technical skill and a nostalgic nod to early platformers on the Mega Drive.
The demo features four brief stages that can be completed in just a few minutes. Despite its short length, Miner Mole impresses with its clean visuals, smooth controls, and pleasant presentation. It’s not a full game, but rather a glimpse of what could have been a charming and well-rounded retro title if ever completed.
