Cavaleiro – Director’s Cut is a Brazilian homebrew action game developed by Nemezes from the Manganga Team — the creators of Devwill Too and Shaolin Carcará. Like those titles, the game uses some shared assets, including music and visual elements, but stands out as a love letter to Capcom’s Ghosts ’n Goblins. This updated version expands on the original release from Almanacão de Férias Nemezes Games, featuring three stages, new enemies, redesigned environments, and improved controls.
Players take control of a knight armed with both a sword and throwable daggers, battling through graveyards and castles filled with undead foes. The game allows choosing between Normal and Easy modes, and offers customizable button layouts. While short and modest in scale, its responsive mechanics, gothic pixel art, and nostalgic tone make it a charming homage to 8-bit and 16-bit classics.
