Satan Claus is a platformer with light puzzle elements developed by Timur Lyazgiev for the Sega Mega Drive. Technically, the game functions as intended, but its design decisions severely undermine the experience. What begins as a holiday-themed platformer quickly turns into a frustrating and poorly balanced ordeal.
Gameplay is slow, confusing, and often unfair. Difficulty spikes are abrupt, hazards are poorly telegraphed, and some sections feel almost impossible without trial-and-error memorization. The game also opens with long, aggressive text passages expressing a hostile stance toward Christmas, which feels disconnected from both the gameplay and any clear narrative goal.
