City Connection

City Connection for the Sega Mega Drive is a port of Jaleco’s classic arcade game, developed by Habit Soft and later released on physical cartridges. The core concept remains unchanged: players drive a small car across multi-level stages, repainting all platforms to complete each level. While historically significant, the gameplay feels very basic by modern standards.

Each stage is themed after a well-known city or region, represented through distinctive background artwork. The challenge comes from avoiding enemy cars and the game’s infamous roaming cats, which can knock the player off platforms. Despite its simplicity, the Mega Drive version preserves the original structure faithfully, appealing mainly to fans of old-school arcade design.
