Crazy Cars

Crazy Cars for Sega Mega Drive is a fan-made port of the 1988 Amstrad CPC racing game developed by Titus. Created in 2013 using the BasiEgaXorz BASIC toolset, this version aims to replicate the original’s look and feel as faithfully as possible — down to its limitations.

Gameplay involves racing across different U.S. regions in high-end sports cars, avoiding traffic and roadside hazards while beating the clock. Unfortunately, sluggish controls, poor framerate, and unresponsive collision mechanics make the game hard to enjoy, even for nostalgia’s sake.
